Another Fighting Display - Indias First Goal in the Asian Cup since 1964

India went down 5-2 against Bahrain and are no longer in contention for a quarter-final place. But Team India can once again be proud of themselves after putting up a fighting display against a higher ranked nation and even drawing the second half. Gouramangi and Chhetri were India's scorers.

It took a minute for India to produce an equaliser and thus score their first goal in the Asian Cup since 1964. Renedy Singh’s free-kick from the middle of the park was headed across the face of goal by Abhishek Yadav to Gouramangi Moirangthem who found the back of the net.
